HVAC Chicago Pro strives to deliver exceptional HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are issued.

1. Service Deposits

For scheduled installation and large-scale project work, a deposit may be required at the time of booking.

  • Deposits are fully refundable if the job is cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled service date.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may forfeit up to 50% of the deposit to cover technician scheduling costs.
  • Same-day cancellations (less than 3 hours notice) are non-refundable.

2. Completed Services

Once a service has been fully completed and signed off, refunds are generally not issued. However, we will consider a partial or full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment or billing error — full refund issued within 5–7 business days.
  • Service not completed as agreed — reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Warranty claim is filed and issue cannot be resolved after two visits — partial or full refund may be issued at management’s discretion.

3. Equipment & Parts

We do not accept returns on installed parts or equipment. Uninstalled, undamaged parts returned within 14 days of purchase may be eligible for a refund or exchange, subject to restocking fees.

  • Parts in original, unopened packaging: eligible for full refund within 14 days.
  • Parts that were removed from packaging but not installed: eligible for up to 50% refund.
  • Installed parts: non-refundable; covered under workmanship or manufacturer warranty where applicable.

4. Maintenance Plans & Service Agreements

Annual maintenance plan fees are refundable on a pro-rata basis if canceled within the first 60 days. After 60 days, no refund is issued for unused portions.

5. How to Request a Refund

  • Contact us at info@hvacchicagopro.com within 30 days of your service.
  • Provide your name, service address, invoice number, and reason for the request.
  • Refunds approved will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Non-Refundable Services

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Diagnostic and inspection fees.
  • Emergency service call-out fees.
  • Permit fees paid to local authorities on your behalf.
